Hey i have been away from the internet for 4 weeks but it has been 4 weeks i will never ever forget :) involving many adventures and cake making and various penguins. My future here in the short term is unstable as i will be coming and going at various times so i am sorry to all of my friends here for not being around to see all your amazing creations. I will try my best to look at them all when i can but i am at a very hard stage in life and really need to prioritise things so i hope you all understand and once again sorry for my lack of replying

Propagandhi

Fri Apr 17, 2009, 11:21 PM
Ok so me, my band and a couple of friends went to see Propagandhi Live last night in Sheffield O2 Academy and it was quite a surreal experience. We where about 3/4 of the way through their set when a little controll panel/switchboard cought fire at the back of the stage behind them during 'Back to the motor League' so they stopped playing and everyone was going crazy including us, as you would if you travel for 3 hours to go and see your fave band.
Anyway we all had to go outside where the security and management of the venue made false promises of letting us back in if we went out. This never happened... we didnt even get to have 1 last song....but instead we were treated with an outside protest and almost a riot with police turning up and the funny thing is nobody got hurt lol. There must have been about 20 Police there all stould on this one door way ready to stop us all barging in.
Anyway things cooled down and me and my friends walked away and towards this bus wich was in the way to our cars...and the actual band Propagandhi where outside it so we actualy got to talk to them, it turns out it is not a new things for them and they seem to get there stage insidents a fair bit, but they were genuinly cool about it all and getting to talk to them more than made up for losing out on a few songs. Being in a band myself we have also had a few stage problems where things have not worked out the way you hoped, and im sure a lot of other people who read this can relate too, you go to a gig and the people running it for you give you no help or dont let you play as long as ude like to its crazy.
Anyway i supose the moral of the story is when theres a fire.... "i like to party fucking hard, i like my rock and roll the."

Earth Hour

Mon Mar 16, 2009, 12:01 PM
WWF are having an Earth Hour on Saturday 28th March at 8:30pm,
what this involves is that everyone who is taking part, switches off everything for an hour at that time. Ive been a member of WWF for quite some time and this just sounds like a really cool idea, i have done similar things before and it really is as simple as switching everything off for 1 hour of your life =P I consume a lot of electricity myself and it can be hard to just not use it sometimes if you know what i mean. especialy in a band >.< lol
